New Oil Dip Stick for the Hammerhead

Thanks for looking at my post. Malibu sent people with the Hammerhead engines a new Oil Dip Stick. I cannot remember where mine is right now. I am going to call Malibu on Monday to get a replacement. Can someone tell me what was the significance of it... Was it that the engine needed more oil than before.

I think the issue was these engines sometime burn a little oil - so I think they raised the level as a margin of safety.

Just toss in an extra qt. for now until someone can tell you how much extra oil the new dipstick makes you install. I know it was at least a qt. and maybe 2.

I was going to say, start with adding one but 2 quarts I think would become a problem with internal pressure and foaming.
