Scuff marks in vinyl

Can somebody tell me what to use to remove black scuff marks on the vinyl? Im reluctant to try just anything but hoping somebody can steer me in the right direction. I tried soft scrub today but it didnt really work all that well. WD40?

A magic sponge and water. It is actually called a magic sponge.

Magic Eraser (the actual brand, not an off brand).

I use Maguire's liquid boat cleaner wax. I use a small amount on a rag and it takes all the shoes/scuff marks off.

We have had good luck with the Magic Eraser, we keep one in the boat--it hasn't let us down yet.

yep...magic eraser. Use a little water and be sure not to rub too hard. This will take our just about any black scuff mark
