Metcraft Tower Lights

I have some Metcraft Illusion Tower Lights with no directions that I need to install. I see how the light comes apart and I am assuming that the top silver part goes up in the hole and tightens down, but my question is do you take the plastic cup that is currently holding the wire out or shove it back into the tower or just leave it? Thanks for the help!

The plastic cup is just for holding the wires from getting lost in the tower and to hold the cap that covers it. Take it out.

Thanks! For those who have tower lights where are you mounting your relays? In the cubby with the battery(ies) or under the dash somewhere?

Under the dash. Plus, at least on the 08s, all of the lights come in on the drivers side.

Plus, I pulled power from a hot connection under there that was straight from the battery, and grounded to a ground block, so everything is neat and tidy under there.
