Heater Repair

Recommended Posts

I replaced my heater core last year. Now the fan seems to not work and just creates a burning smell. I blew the circuit a couple of times too.

I'm pretty sure the fan is separate from the heater core if I remember. I'm not sure where the fan is though. Does anyone have a quick R&R couple of tips?

If it's a Heatercraft, the fan is a module that attaches to the outside of the grey box that houses actual heat exchanger. You just need a new fan. Looks like it's $100 from HeaterCraft.

Assumes that you have the 200H unit that they started using in about 2005.
