Trailering with Rankin Evolution Cover

Just finished an 1800 mile round trip tow to a family reunion. Previous years, i'd have cover rub marks that came out with sweat, elbow grease and carefully chosen words. This year, after seeing a suggestion on themalibucrew, I went with some construction/pallet wrap. Perfecto, el cheapo solution.

Are Rankin covers called "Evolution" ... thought that's what Cory makes?????

No, two seperate companies, Rankin and Evolution.

Learn something new and different every day. The cover we have is indeed a Rankin. From all of the previous traffic, perhaps Evolution/Cory product is the way to go. Yes, 1800 miles is a long way. The cover rubbing problem was solved with the pallet wrap stuff. Maybe with Evolution, rubbing is not an issue.

I think you have a good cover ... for years Rankin was the number one recommended cover on this site ... it seems to have slipped to number 2 here, IMHO.
