Identify Bearing Protector

Recommended Posts

What is the make and model of this bearing protector? It is on my 2001 DHM trailer.

Has blue ring grease level indicator and rounded lip where it rests against hub. Stainless end cap says "Trailer Buddy" but there is no side decal and can't find matching model on UFP or Bearing Buddy's websites. Nor does it appear in Google Images under "Bearing Buddy" or "Trailer Buddy".

NEVER MIND...I FIGURED IT OUT. IT IS THE BEARING PROTECTOR THAT COMES WITH UFP TRAILER BUDDY AXLE ASSEMBLY.

That's most likely a stainless 1.980" bearing buddy. You do need a bra as the last poster stated.

You'll also need to buy some UFP marine rear seals p/n 07027 for a 2.33-1.68 and get used to replacing them. I do at least one a season. Just replaced one last week.
