Finally, New surf sac for the VTX.

Well, I just happened to stop by the local MC shop today and they had one new Fly High 16x16x48 sac and Tsunami pump combo left. ($175.00). So I picked it up. Unfortunately it is only supposed to be like 60 degrees this weekend!! Either way, I do have the power wedge, bow ballast, yada yada yada. so I am hoping that this will be enough to get the wake to where it is more "consistent". I really wanted the 750# but they were out and this was a deal I couldn't resist. Any experience with this bag?

Willy I hate to be the bearer of bad news but you got NO deal there buddy. You can get that sac for less than that all day long and the pump is only $99.

In fact you paid much more than full retail for that setup. This setup on wakeside would only cost you $239. Glad you're trying to keep your local shop in business though.

By the way that's not near enough weight, you'll need at least one 750# sac to get a good wave going.

400 lbs will most certainly help, especially since you are adding it on top of 200 lb underneath the floor. Like the previous posts, I agree that you'll be wanting more before too long. Next step is to get that 750, put it in the locker and then put the 400 on the seats in front of it.

I use a 400 in my VTX and get a surfable wake... it's not a 247's wake but very fun and ropeless.

Sorry! I fat fingered it. I paid $175.00. I missed there sale in June when it was $149.00 for the combo. I am just glad they helped me out like they did. I couldn't find a combo like this for $175.00 anywhere. Even the Malibu dealership right down the road wouldn't match it.
