Since you asked.. what were you thinking the issue would be? Dontknow.gif Maybe we can help address you're specific concerns

Mainly I was concerned about one falling before the other one, and then I was concerned about both of them getting up, like I said they just started wakeboarding and now they think they are experts, cough cough. I was really worried about picking both of them up and having the ropes in the water. Most of the issues have been addressed and honestly I cannot figure out what the heck they were going to do out there, together, doesn't all their tricks kindof have to be in sinc?

Ah, yea, good point.. one thing nobody touched on was if someone falls.. They both need to know that if someone eats it, the other needs to drop. Don't be a hero and end up spreading each other out across the water..

Don't worry about the ropes, they just follow along-

Our kids like to ride double or triple once they're played out but not ready to quit for the day. One thing they'll figure out real soon is that whoever gets the shorter rope, even if its just a few inches shorter, has a massive advantage when it comes to spraying the other guy. Next they're playing rock paper scissors for the short rope.

Setting the record for the most foil riders behind a boat was a kick we got on years ago. Heres a few I've been involved in.

This is back in the 70s on the Parker Strip. Mike Murphy (who started SkySki), Bob Wooley (owner of AirChair) & Banana George to name a few....

Banana George...Now that brings back some memories! Biggrin.gif

We used to double kneeboard when we were kids and man I loved having that short rope. I could knock my bro off the rope if I got a deep edge and threw all the spray in his face.

You evil little sh*t. I thought the ropes were suppose to be the same length?

We see this every weekend. Make sure to use the same length of rope for both is the same.

Wouldn't unequal rope lengths insure they wouldn't physically smash into each other. I understand the clothes line thing, but I bet they only do that once.

They are supposed to be as close to the same as possible, but my uncle would never get them perfect. I would just make sure to get the shorter rope if there was one. Whistling.gif All you need is a couple inches.

J-ro and NVBoarder ride doubles occasionally. It's a really special moment when they hold hands. Whistling.gif

I am running to lock the doors right now!!!!! Luckily J-Ro is in Hawaii so he will not be coming over tonight to kick some serious a--/

Yes, they do ride doubles occasionally, but they never hold hands.

Here was a better shot. I believe this was behind LS-one's boat a few years back.

What if the person with the short rope falls in front of the other one? What if the person with the shorter rope falls into the longer rope? What if the person with the longer rope falls and that rope takes out the guy on the short rope?

Rope lengths should ALWAYS be equal unless for specific tricks like crossing under the other person's rope, or pyramids.

For this stunt from the 4th, we used two 75' slalom lines and took about 10 inches out of the bottom one. :) Me and my little sis.
