The Wakesetter

I am looking for info on the wakesetter, I have been a die hard slalom skier all my life, I currently have my third Response Lx, but I realise it is time to pass the torch. I am outnumbered by my 3 daughters who prefer to wakeboard and think it is time for a boat change. I have been looking at the wakesetter but am not sure what is what, there are a bunch of different letter combinations and sizes. So I am asking those in the know what they like and dislike. All opinions are greatly appreciated. Thanks all.

Here's some quick specs on the Wakesetters

VTX = 20 ft

VLX = 21 ft

23 LSV = 23 ft

247 LSV = 24'7" ft

They include ballast standard, as well as the wedge and Wakesetter graphics.

You can get the Diamond hull which is a crossover for skiing if you still want to be able to slalom behind the wakesetters. Wake hull is not designed for skiing and you'll definately notice it.

Personally, We enjoy the 23 ft with the 400 HP hammerhead engine. Lots of power and room compared to the VLX IMO. Great wake stock for wakeboarding. Surf wake will need extra ballast to go ropeless

And if you're looking to not butcher your ski wake I hear that the VTX with the diamond hull is fantastic for both wakeboarding and skiing..
