ballast switches

the switches on my 05 vlx turn red when on. today i noticed a my middle ballast light was not on and the tank was not draining.

do i have a bad switch or are these switches fused?

any help would be great

The switches should feed from the breakers. You could have gotten something stuck in the pump's impeller & it's now throwing the breaker when on, or a bad pump, or have a short somewhere in the wiring that throws the breaker, or a loose wire - no current flow no light, or a bad switch, or a burnt out light in the switch or ...

Have to start ruling out different things...

Most common is bad pump or something in impeller throwing the breaker.

Breakers should be underneath the throttle.

Edit: If it's an after market install, all bets on the circuit breaker are off...
