Aqua Signal Flip Up Navigation Light Options

Hi all,

My Malibu has the flip up Aqua Signal navigation light. The light has had intermittent issues since I have had the boat; three years. Often it has to be tapped to get it working.

Anyway, it went out again over the weekend.

My dealer has been informed of the issue, but it keeps recurring.

Anyway, I opened up the housing, and my best guess is the the bulb has gone bad. I also managed to lose the small screw that holds the red and green cover plate.

The bulb broke when I tried to remove it

Does anybody know roughly what size screw I should get?

My dealer says I need a Festoon Bulb 71, so I'll give it a try. I'll probably just bring a bunch of small screws with me when I do the fix if I don't get any feedback on specific screw sizes.

Anybody have experience with replacement LED bulbs that fit into this housing as an alternative?

Festoon 71?? Isn't that 71 mm long?

I imagine it's a Festoon 31..... or 31 mm long.
