Ballast pump tripping breaker

I have an '04 Wakesetter with a center ballast. The fill and drain pumps are on the same rocker switch. Fill pump did not operate today and tripped the circuit breaker almost immediately when reset. The drain pump doesn't seem to be working either (can't hear any noise from it).

I've got an '04 WS with the same problem. I haven't looked into it yet but I bet it is a problem with the pump. I'm interested to see what the Crew thinks.

Had the same thing happen on my 07 just this past week. Pulled pump out of its housing and gave it a few taps on the top, threw the switch and away it went. Hope its that easy for you, good luck.

I had to remove the pump (Piranha) to take it apart. When I did the impeller would not budge. I put some channel lock pliers on it to free up movement. Once The impeller was freed up it now run's fine. I may buy one just to have as a spare should the thing lockup again.
