Fuel gauge

Recommended Posts

While wakeboarding today my fuel gauge went from 3/4 to dead empty and never changed again. Any ideas would be helpful as we are on the lake and don't want to pull out to fill if I don't need to.

Mine did that on Tues. Tonight it was bobbing between empty and the true level (about 3/4) like crazy. I'm guessing I have a loose connection somewhere. I need to look at the sending unit as well as the connections under the dash. I just used a flashlight to double check the tank level and make sure the fuel gauge was off.
