will not start no power to the starter

2004 23lsv had new ecm installed and put in water started and was running would not go into reverse went into forward gear and would not return to neutral so turned ing key off and pulled to dock now it has no power going to the starter, i believe it thinks it is in gear

Sounds like it is in gear and your neutral safety switch is preventing power from getting to the starter through the starter solenoid. I'd check the shifter cable first. Sounds like something lose in yours.

It happened to me too the other day started and wont go into gear, ever thing is electrical on the boat (not cable driven)

i just disconnected the battery for a sec and that took care of the problem.
