perfect pass quit working

Recommended Posts

hi -

my perfect pass digital pro version x 5.0 just quit working, the electronics still work, but it doesn't control the speed at all. It did get unplugged while trouble shooting a different issue, so... Do i have to re-calibrate it or anything? all the settings are still there.

or from what i have read, maybe is the servo shot? when i power up the key, the servo does get very hard to turn.

any ideas? i planned on calling pp tomorrow, just thought i'd try the crew first.

Had a similar issue last year. Not sure if this is it but it's worth a shot. On top of the servo motor check the knob to see if it is lose. There is an inset allen screw on mine that came lose and it wouldn't hold speed.

The black knob should turn freely. If it doesnt the servo is probably fried.

Also when you turn the key look at the black knob, it should turn and tighten on startup. If it doesnt then your servo is shot.
