303 protectant bath on gel!

Recommended Posts

Weird, first time I have done my interior and not worried about the 303 overspray! (was actually nice)

Sprayed her gel down with 303 (twice) wiped her off with a sopping wet rag full of 303. Now what?

1>should I wait to wax her and let the 303 soak in? (which is why I did it twice as the first coat soaked right in)

2>Should I use wax or polish? I have new bottle of zymol cleaner/wax, eagle one "wet" (which I have been using with great success) or star brite teflon".

Thanks TMC for the tip!!

Any haze should just rub out with a cotton cloth, towel etc. Then put your favorite wax over that, ought to look great!

I've been using 303 on the hull for 10 years now several times a season. I don't use wax at all. My boat looks as good as it did in 99. The problem with wax is that it prevents the 303 from penetrating when you use it the next time. The problem with 303 is if you don't use it frequently enough your hull is not protected from UV.
