If that tower is available for sale today, I would put it on my 247. I hate my Illusion. And this is coming form a guy who has been through 3 Illusions on his current setup and was one of the first Illusion owners in 2004 and then 2005....

I heard that the 340 or 350 monsoons were history. What are the engine options for 2010?

Is the response LX or Response closed bow still available?

Doesn't 2010 production start soon?

I have been told the following, but am not totally sure about all of it:

They will have the Response and Lx, just not in the brochure again.

They only offer Boatmate trailers from the factory.

Fiberglass platform is standard.

Snap out carpet option on vlx.

Ride series come only with illusion x tower (not sure about this with the metcraft news)

Engines are as follows:

330hp LCR

350hp Monsoon

LS3 vette 450hp (no more hammerhead)

LS7 vette (avail on v-drives)

8.1 (has new transmission)

Why do you hate the illusion? (The Titan guy asked..) I like my T-II but I would have gone Illusion in '04, had I known they added springs & made the pin system better...

a solid 430HP, I am guessing that with less emissions the motor is capable of a bit more.

2010 LS3 marine is 418 hp on GM spec sheet.....??

They don't - Indmar adds a free flowing intake, exhaust and calibration, to get 430. (And likely less restrictive emissions, as noted prior)

420, 430.....still nearly 100 hp more than what I got now...and lighter, and smoother, and Oh Boy!

Word on WW is Metcraft filed for bankrupcy and doors to close forever tomorrow.

I am a little concerned by this as I have my new VTX but I am waiting for my Yellow tower from Metcraft..

Fortunately the dealers does not want me to pay for the boat

until the proper tower is installed.

I am being told that the new tower should be here next week

Rumors don't sound good for Metcraft!!! I just tried to call them and the number has been disconnected!!!

Will Malibu help with my warranty problems ? (chrome coming off of board racks,and small holes appearing in bimini top )
