Water leaking on stereo amps

Hey guys and gals....have a question. I have an 05 vlx ans have all my stereo stuff in the passenger compartment. I get water in there and I do not know how it is getting in. I thought at first it was water coming in the vent so I caulked it. I am going to recaulk my cupholder as well, but where else could it come in?? Thanks

One of my ballast tank drain hoses exits there. If you have ballast tanks, you may want to check that.

My cup holders have a hole in the bottom of them.

I'm betting that its your cup holder. One other thing to check is your windshield bolts, one may be loose or missing.

I added a 1/4" tube to the bottom of the cup holder to route the water into the bilge area. I have amps directly under the cup holder in the passenger storage area.

Check your vent hose right below the windshield

I have done the same. If not, the cup holder drains right into the amp.
