Finding a 3rd

When it comes to finding a 3rd, I am unwilling to give up. I end up calling anyone and everyone that might want to go out. Bad enough that I might be embarrassing myself.

Just curious if I am alone

And to top it all I have already been out 3 times this week.

Thankfully here in Minnesota we don't need a third

Although I feel your pain. I often have trouble finding a second. Unlike a third they need to know how to drive.... If I can't find one I resort to crying myself to sleep.

Dude, kids are great for this, especially the big ones even if they aren't of "age" they look like it and Mr. Fish&Game stays away, ha ha ha one of them is calling me right now cuz it's kindof windy and they still want to go tonight, they actually think they are trying to convince me we should still go, they don't know I probably want to be out there worse than they do. Great now I have to worry about wind, current and new boat. I need my boating guardian angel to be with us tonight. Sorry I got off topic, surely there is some willing rider sitting on the beach just hoping someone like you needs a spotter? Heck I used to threaten my husband with "I'm gonna stand on the dock with a ski if we don't get a boat pretty dang soon." It was an idle threat though cuz I didn't have a ski.

Hit up the wake boarder and hydrofoiler sites. Especially the local ones (if any).

Aww you lucky dawgs, that's true about the driver thing but I learned so I am going to teach my son, why???? I trust him to pull me God only knows, he's not trustworthy when it comes to anything else but for some reason he's the one I want behind the wheel and for the most part it'll be him and the baby and a couple friends for the first hour till hubby gets there and I certainly don't trust his friends.

We have the same problem. Makes me miss Sammamish. I had a pool of guys we rode with all the time. One summer I was unemployed & rode more than anyone!!

My wife & I will get out & just the two of us will ride. In the spring the cops are never on the lake. And it's usually dead anyway so it's not a problem. But now it's getting busy out there. So the other night we recruited the neighbor kids to come out. So I had to clean up the mouth & play only G rated music.

THAT WOULD SUCK!!!! Hey I work at a car dealership, I can hook you up, in a good way. I'm not sure if I can put our website on this reply so I won't but if you are serious, I am a manager this dealership is huge and I will treat a fellow BU owner extremely right. I am sometimes blown away at how many people don't jump at the chance to go boating. I guess just because I love it, not everyone else has to. Losers.

We might be looking to explore those lakes over there....cultus, billy chinook etc. later this summer. Personally I think one of the best things about boating is having new and especially more experienced people on board. So Ya will let you know.

I know what you mean, even my hubby is like "Now Hun we aren't going to do this every night." I'm like well if the wind is white capping the river then no but otherwise why wouldn't we? Then he's like "well lawns need mowed and are you just going to stop doing housework?" I say yep for 3 months I could give a rats butt if the house is clean, he doesn't care for the rest of the year...NOW HE DOES. Hello, Man I hope he catches the fever, but I always have the kids and they are always willing.

I have a list of people who love to board and I just send out a spam mail to see who is interested. Last time I went to the River I had 8 people (2guys 6 girls) and had to tell 4 others girls that I had a full boat . This weekend I'll have 6 on the boat so that way I can ride more. Yes I like riding with girls more then the guys, go figure.

Ha Ha Ha I am laughing right now my other son just called me, (the one I trust to pull me, he's 14) he's like Mom we are going boating tonight you aren't wimping out, he's my courage Gawd sometimes I wish I didn't worry so much. The wind is only blowing like 30 mph right now, crap.

Well As long as the lake isnt colder than the north fork...... That is about my limit.

I'd say that Cultus & some of the other high lakes are probably on par with the North Fork. Prineville & Lake Billy are warmer.

Wish I could, but just closed on a house a few weeks ago and the old bank account is empty. I will be hopefully buying right around tax time next year though.
