MMDC on 2001 Sunsetter

Hi, first time poster to this forum.

I hope someone can provide me a ball park price of an MMDC for a 2001 Wakesetter. Just bought this boat 3 weeks ago and last weekend all of the gauges went out. I saw previous threads that discussed this problem and it appeared to be the MMDC. Can anyone provide a price on one of these?

I would say this is a good place to start, when I bought mine I did not know about bakes but the price is about the same. I have seen them run a lot more depending on who you call but have not seen them much less anywhere. http://www.bakesonline.com/detail.aspx?ID=1381 I would call them as I think this may be the one you need but they can check it against your hull #. Hope this helps.

I had a similiar intermittent problem with my MMDC on my 2002 Response. Turned out to be a loose AMP connector PIN and/or cracked glass fuse (with the element still "intact") - fixed both and I've had no problems since. Suggest you check all your power and ground leads to the MMDC before you replace.

You could also try pulling your lanyard & replacing. It may seem strange, but I've had one or all my gauges go out & that restored them when just turning the boat off & on didn't.
