2002 Sportster Cover.

Good friends of mine across the lake are in need of a cover for their 2002 sportster, closed bow. Their factory cover just isn't doing its job anymore. A top quality cover is what they are looking for, their cleanest I've seen in a long time. Cory @ Evolution was the first name to come into mind, but he does not have a pattern for a sporty. He recommended 'The Canvas Shoppe' www.skiboatcovers.com. Where have you Sportster owners gone for a new cover? Has anyone had any experience with the canvas shoppe?

Where else to look and recommendations?

Thanks in advance,

Chad (and Charlie across the lake!)

I bought a cover from Mike at Skiboatcovers.com in April, I have a 2000 sportster with a Monster tower. They custom fitted around the tower and provided the three support poles. In Ohio it has been raining like crazy and to this day I have never had water puddle on the cover. My boat sits on a lift so the strap that fits below the rub rail holds the cover on very well. I use two bungee cords on each side for extra protection because my boat sits all week at our Lake House. I gave Mike the dimensions on Tuesday night and talked to him on Wednesday morning and the cover was on my porch Friday. Nice purchase.
