Split Seam

I was out on the bu (95 Response) last night and noticed that the back of the spotter's seat has begun to split. It is in the middle of the seat where the two colors meet. So it is the seam that is coming apart.

The questions is...

Is there anyway to stop it so I can make it through the season? You can see it is just starting but I know the seam is going to come further and further apart the more we use it.

I don't really have the $$ to fix correctly right now. Just looking for something to stop the seam from coming apart further.

Let me know what you have done...

Thanks

I have the same problem with my rear seat(99 Malibu Sunsetter LXI),Don't use duct tape!!I would try using a beach towel for a temp fix, keep people from stepping or standing on that part of the seat, that seems to be what the cause is for my situation.Other than that,I would suggest looking for a resonable upholstery shop.I had a guy quote me to aroung $100 bucks.Good Luck!
