Won't start. No spark

Hey all. first post and need some help with my 1991 Sunsetter Euro F3. BTW, I searched the site and got some good tips, but I am totally at the end of my rope...

Last summer my boat was not running too well, so I thought it was time to do a full tune-up...new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coil, points, condensor. I replaced everything then went to start and no spark at the plugs. So I started replacing the new with the old components one at a time. low and behold it was the new points. so I put all of the new parts on with the old points and it started fine. Ran so well I had to adjust the idle down 400RPM. I ordered the tune-up kit from skidim.com (got the info from you guys here).

So I had been on the lake a few times at the end of last summer and it ran super. THen went to winterize it and I couldn't get it to start. I troubleshooted it for awhile, but due to time constraints I did not finish troubleshooting the no spark.

So now I have the boat and trying to get it ready for summer. I have troubleshooted the following:

1. checked voltage on the coil - 12-13v

2. verified the gap on the points.

3. cleaned all connections on the cap, points, distributor

4. checked spark from the coil. this I am unsure of if I am getting the correct voltage. Does anyone know what should be coming from the coil? I did put on a new coil, but have troubleshooted with both the new and old coil.

Anything else I can look at? Thanks

Kevin

Guess I jumped the gun. I went back out to troubleshoot and got it to start. This time I was getting spark but it looked weak.

thanks anyway.
