the wrench you need is a 1 7/8 for both nuts. my dad and i adjusted the nuts on the water so we could see how much water was coming in the boat. i bought the wrenchs at harbor fright for 30 $ and they came in a pack of 6

Or a couple of these:

They're a little more costly, but being aluminum, they won't mar anything if dropped...and the shorty handle makes using them much easier (as does their light weight). I just got two for my Gortex "virtually dirpless" packing change I'm making today. My original packing has a steady stream squirting out when the engine is OFF!!! Time to change my packing, ya think???

mine also had a steady stream when just sitting in the water but I just tightened it and now ti drips about once every 5 seconds when the shaft is spinning...

Try tightening it first... Your 07 should not have shaft packing issues yet..
