Cypress Gardens Skis

I've used a few different ones for my barefoot kick-off ski. Most of the ones I see have ripped bindings, or are missing the binding parts. I take the heel holds off and use them. I don't know if you can get new rubber or not. Probably hav to rig it with rubber from another brand if they rip, but it's totally possible.

I've never skied on the old combos from the stone age.

They are all that my father and Fiance will ski on. Both of them are not strong skiers, but whatever gets them out of the water. I wouldn't pay more than $20 for them though.

I just acquired a Cypress Gardens slalom from my father-in-law. It needs new binding rubber and refinishing. Should I go through the effort or just hang it on the wall for decoration up at the lake?

I own O'Brien Performers and Cypress Gardens' d*** Pope Sr. skis. What ones do I use? The CG"s every time. They can cut just as hard as the O'Bs, and you can ski twice as long (if not more) on them without tiring. As far as I'm concerned, concave bottoms on skis only do anything for slalomers.

<------My daughters are on CG's in the avatar. They will pass up the O'B's every time too.
