Illusion XS wires

My new boat has the Illusion XS on it, but I have one question that I cannot seem to find an answer for. On the bottom of the tower (below where the anchor light is) there is a wire cap that is off center. When removed it has a low gauge blue and black wire. Next to it are two machined screw mounts that are actually centered on the tower. It obviously is made for something to be mounted, perhaps a down light? Does anyone know what actually mounts in this spot/ what this wire is for? The red and black wires for the lights come down on the same side, but are a heavier gauge. Thanks

It's for a down firing interior LED that (I believe) was never offered by malibu.
