tying off wakeboard rope

Just a quick pick of the incumbent brains... what is the best way to tie off the rope on the wakeboard tower to allow for quick adjustment? Any particular knots that work better or hold better? How many feet should the adjustment lengths be? Heading to havasu this weekend with a new wakeboard.

i'm not from the darkside but iirc if you throw a byte in a line, spin the byte 3 or 4 times then pull the standing part of the line thru the byte you are good to to.

i'll try it again, differently, to see if i can make it clearer.

drape the line over your wrist at the point you want to form an eye, spin your arm around the standing part of the line to form 3 or 4 twists in the line then grasp the standing (twisted) section and pull it thru the eye forming a new loop. the pylon goes thru the loop.

again, i'm not from the dark side but i thought this worked swell when i saw it done.

good luck w it.
