2007 23 lsv wedge malfunction

Recommended Posts

hey guys, this is my first post so if i mess something up, please don't hate rant. I have a 07 23LSV and the wedge actuators(sp) broke the first year we had, within weeks. we got it fixed on warranty, and worked great all summer long. the first time we took the boat out this year, i went to put the wedge down for the first time, the gage read that it went up, then plummetted down faster than normal, and would not move no matter how i pushed the button, on the gage or the wedge itself. however, the wedge is still in the complete upright position, even though it reads down. so my dash yells at me everytime i go over 27 approx but it is still in the up position. and when it intially broke, i left off the button while it was plummeting down, and still kept going. im thinking its a connection problem, but all the close by shops have closed down, could someone please help me out. im fixing this thing myself, im a DIY guy. thank you for any help.

Did you take the battery out for storage or did it go dead last winter? If so you have to recalibrate the wedge on the service display.

Still having issues with my wedge sticking in down position so any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks jeff
