Perfect pass linkage and MPI fuel rails

Reinstalling my 2 year old PP wakeboard pro 6.5ng on a 2002 Sunscape 21 LSV. The PP was originally installed on a 92 sunsetter, so basic cable throttle/servo setup (I removed when sold). My challenge is the the Sunscape has tight clearance (less than 1/8") between the MPI fuel rail and the linkage for the throttle cable. The PP linkage adapter would stick out another 1/4"...or put another way...it just doesn't fit..can't even mount it.

Anybody run into or fix this (different PP adapter or modifying the throttle bracket) or am I completely missing something that would have been taken care of if I had purchased a new PP specifically for the 2002 Sunscape?

My buddy had the opposite problem when doing the install on his Supra. We originally called PP and at first they weren't much help. We then started searching all over the internet for pictures and found one that matched his w/ a picture of the engine. It made things pretty obvious then and PP was all over it after that.

So I'd call PP right away while waiting for someone to snap a picture for ya.

Good luck.

Yep. Originally thought I was missing something. Turns out there is a specialized cable and adapter ($35) to work on this engine configuration. PP knew exactly what I was talking about.
