Inexpensive board racks

Don't flame me here, maybe its the tighwad in me, but I am looking at finally adding a set of board racks to my SLXi. I have a titan I on the boat. I looked at the titan web site. Nice looking product but the price... I went lookin on e-bay hoping to find a set that someone was getting rid of. I found these racks for a little less.

Seem very similar to the Titan Cruisers. Whats the difference? Smaller? Cheaper material? Why would I want to buy the more expensive racks? What am I missing?

I can't comment specifically on the board rack but I bought a $100 tower mirror and arm off of ebay. Complete absolute POS!!! The arm doesn't lock into position and the mirror falls down no matter how tight I get either one. I will end up spending too much time modifying it. I'm the same way as far as being somewhat of a tightwad but I learn everyday that you usually get what you pay for!!

Not sure about those racks but I did buy a Fusion wakeboard rack for $75 (shipping included) on ebay. It is a good looking rack. It is chrome plated aluminum rather than polished but it looks great on the boat and functions well. I think Fusion is going out of buisness and selling things pretty cheap on ebay. The only issue I had with the rack is that the rubber inserts on the forks were not glued in well but I fixed that pretty easily.

The any angle mounting is critical for a Titan tower, and after having the old MBO racks for so long I'm a big fan of simpler designs the better (for polishing). To many stepped edges or fancy shapes make it a PITA.

The rotating racks are even nicely priced... just in black.

They look like the old Boss racks. I'm sure if you post up on Wakeworld or here that your looking for racks that some one may be able to help out. I have a rack but not sure if I'm ready to part with it plus it would not fit the Titan.

These racks are from aerialwakeboarding.com. They have several styles and combinations as well as other accessories. Talk to Ryan Marshall. I had an issue with my tower legs. He sent me new ones. Tell him sunsetter95 sent you.... on second thought, he may double the price.

The prices on ebay are lower for the towers, sorry, but I haven't compared the racks yet.

What did you guys pay for your aerial wake racks? H2O Sports has auctions starting at 140 but the aerial website lists them for just under 300. Also, you guys that have them, what tower are do you have? Do they mount solid?

I bought a single Aeriel rack about 6+ months ago. Got it for when they used to run random no reserve auctions for around $80-90. I got the black style one. Very solid mounting and quality construction. Very bad design though. The fingers are too short and to close together so any modern wakeboards will slap each other pretty bad when you have two boards in a rack. Not bad enough to stop using it but it prevented me from buying a 2nd one for the other side and if I find a good deal on a different brand I'll replace it.
