Weight in the rear.

i recently purchased some ballasat bags and i would like to hide them as much as possible. i was going to put a "ski locker" bag that weighs 350 lbs in the rear storage of our xti but there is a sticker that says not to put in more than 75 lbs. so how much weight is to much for the locker in the back?

They just don't want you to crush the gas tank - it is located directly under the rear ski compartment. You might be able to reinforce that floor a little and put extra weight back there?

just my 2 cents, but have you ever stood in that area, do you weigh more than 75 lbs? 350 pound sac over a large square footage area ,I think you will be okay. Malibu is just covering their butt. It's your call of course. I'm sure others will chime in

I run 750s in each locker goin on 3rd year without a problem

I put a large bag inside my locker I drain it when not in use, I have used it for 5 years with no problem!
