Boom for the Illusion X Tower

I have a 2008 vRide with the Illusion X Tower. My six year old wants to learn how to ski/wakeboard this year and I would like to get a boom to teach him. Anyone know of a boom that will mount to the Illusion X Tower?

Thanks!

The only way to teach water sports is with a boom! its sooooooo easy with one. I haven't heard of any boom to mount to the Illusion Tower

I've never heard of one for the Illusion. Best solution that I could come up with was a BI vdrive boom with an extension, maybe 2. Mike with BI was pretty sure that you'd need 2 to get out of the spray. I never did it though, for a variety of reasons.

A boom is great for teaching almost anything that can be done behind a boat, including wakeboarding. You just need to swap sides for the goofy footers since the natural tendency is for them to ram the boat when they're coming up on the port side.

Thanks for the feedback. Anybody have any experience with the vDrive Boom from BI?

WakeGirl - what were your reasons to not get the vdrive boom?
