ok so it is not the mmdc that i used to have in my '01 ss vlx.

the display went to crap and i would let the new owner know of the availability, but it appears that it is not be the same thing as i was thinking.

They dont make those MMDC LCD gauges anymore, had the same thing in my 01 SSVLX

I could be wrong here but the I think the MDC is (Marine Data Concentrator) was for the Medallion series of digital instruments (the ones I have in my 2000) and the MMDC is the (Multiple Module Data Computer) the big brother of the MDC, added some features i.e. AccuSki GPS etc. that I don;t have, or was a newer version, I am not sure, but am pretty sure they are different, but do almost the same thing (convert signals to be displayed on you gauges.).
