Oil Pressure

Hey everyone, I was wondering if any of ya'll have had the same issue before. I have a 04 Wakesetter with the Monsoon engine, anyway, it's only happened two or three times this summer, but when I'm just a little above idle, but not trying to plane out, the oil pressure will drop all of a suddend. If I back it down to idle, the alarm will go away. Any ideas?

Install a manual guage and verify the pressure is actually dropping. The most likely cause is a bad oil pressure sender.

That or your low on oil, have you checked the level?

Could it be the angle your boat is running at when going that speed causing the oil to go to the back of your oil pan and away from the oil pick-up.
