Titan spinner racks

Anybody have any history with the Titan spinner racks?

I am looking at buying a ski rack for the Titan III tower and am wondering if the rack itself needs to be removed from the tower before dropping the tower. Since the ski rack is a little longer than a wakeboard rack, it looks to me like the ski rack might hit the gunnel of the boat if it isn't removed before lowering the tower. I lower my tower to get it under my boat canopy, so easy removal is a must.

Does the spinner accessory allow for easy removal, or is it just for spinning the rack for ease of board installation and removal.

Any comments would be greatly appreciated, before I drop some money on this rack.

The spinner racks are not removeable unless you pull out the tools. Given the extra length of a ski rack, the spinners might be a decent option as it allows you to rotate them to the inside. The other option for a removeable rack is the Titan lift off which can be used with any of the Titan racks that do not spin.

srud,

Thanks for your advice. I guess if spinning the racks 90 degrees does not give me enough clearance, I will purchase the lift off option for these.

Any suggestions where to go to get the lift off option. I assume Titan is the only one who would sell it?

Your dealer should have them or you could look online. Bakesonline.com has a nice selection on their website.
