Another Cope and McPheter Story

When I purchased my Malibu I purchased the extended warranty that had the buy back capability at the end of the term. If I didn't ever activate the warranty I was to receive the actual cost I paid for the extended warranty through Warranty Business Services Corporation. So of course I was only going to use it on major issues, but I didn't have any. Now that I'm at the end of my term I started making telephone calls. I really didn't expect that anyone would be at the other end and found out I'm correct. Something for Crew Members to check if they purchased the extended warranty with Guaranteed Price Refund.

Does anyone know if this has been a discussion before and of any other options. I'm out a couple K on this one.

You need to contact the Protection Plan Company, "Pinnacle Protection Plans", that is the one that Ultimate Water Sports used. Ultimate was owned by Cope. You should have a pink receipt that is the "Service Contract Reimbursement Guarantee". It has the instructions on the back. You can look up Pinnacle on the Web. Their phone number is 303-238-3841, they are in Colorado.

In '04 Ultimate sold me a plan from Warranty business Corp.

REquests for refund must come within 180 days of term expiration in writing only.

Their # is 1800-406-8360.

Patrick, this is the number I called and it gave me a 1-900 number to call. I called the 1-900 number and the recording stated no longer available. Or something like that. I will be looking into this over the next couple of months. My 180 days starts August 2. I'm thinking I'm SOL on this though. I will also mpolli's advice and check it out.
