Help from Everett/Seattle WA Skier Owners needed

Hey everyone. I have been talking with Evolution Covers and they have agreed to make up a custom Sunbrella cover for my boat, but do not have a pattern for a Malibu Skier.

They are located in the Everett/Seattle WA area and I am in Pennsylvania so I hate to drive a couple thousand miles to have the boat patterned.

Anyone own a Skier in the area (I think they are really close to Bakes Marine) and would be willing to allow Evolution to pattern it? I would greatly appreciate it and I think you could might be able to get a discounted cover out of the deal for helping!

I hope someone can help a fellow crew member out!

Sent your message to a friend of mine in Everett. I know he has an older Malibu, just not sure which model it is.

Bakes is in Issaquah. Not terribly close to Everett, but a lot closer than PA is! Maybe 40 or 50 miles? I think I'd contact Bakes about it too though. Surely they have some older 'bu customers listed who they can contact.

I'll let you know what I hear.

EDIT: Oh well, I just heard back from Tim & he has an 89 Sunsetter bow rider. Probably not the ideal boat for a pattern for a Skier.

I'll let you know if I think of anyone else.

Thanks for contacting your buddy Tim. It was a good try. Yeah I think the Sunsetter will be too wide for making up a pattern to fit my boat.

I called up Paul and he was really cool. He said next time one of his customers comes in with a Skier for service he would call Cory (owner of Evolution covers) and have him come up and pattern the boat. I guess I just hope someone brings their Skier in for a spring tune-up!
