Order a new boat

When does Malibu stop taking orders on 09 models? If a boat was ordered now, about how many weeks would it take to get it? Does Malibu have any boats at the factory that dealers haven't claimed yet, or are they all custom made from actual orders?

Those are good questions for a dealer. I am willing to bet not much is being built that was not specifically ordered by a dealer with a check in hand.

On 5/13/09 I placed an order for a 09 VTX.

I was told by the dealer that the boat would be delivered in 4-6 weeks..

Yea they told me it takes normally about 4 weeks once the order is in place. Luckily mine took 3.....

From what I understand Malibu isn't making a boat unless it's presold to either the dealer or a customer. When I went to order my boat I was told 6 weeks was the worst case scenario.
