what are the switches on the gauge cluster for? '98 sunsetter

Recommended Posts

there are two momentary switches on my gauge cluster. can anyone tell me what they are for?

thanks,

scott

I am not familar with your actual gauge, but one is to switch from one speedo pickup to the other and the other one is to calabrate the speedometer to match a GPS or time through a course.

If you have Perfect Pass or another speed control system, you don't need these switches.

i have 2 switches i don't know what they do, one is labelled pickup the other i forget.....is this what these are?

Yes one to switch the pickup for the speedo, and the other to calibrate (adjust) the needle to match a known speed.
