Boom options for 03-06 RLXI?

What are the best boom options for my 03 Response LXI (no tower)? I am assuming it will need some type of contour to get around the windshield. A boom is not quite on the "short list" yet, but at some point, I may be looking to pick one up.

TIA, Dave

You'll need a special boom for the RLXi because the windshield comes back further than "normal". Both BI and Beman make a boom that will do the trick. The BI will come out on the passenger side unless you get a custom bend, which you can do. Not sure on the Beman.

you will likely need the extra extension for the BI boom if you go that route. Not sure about Beman's. Without the extension you will be riding in spray from the boat. I have a BI and it is a very sturdy boom.

There are 3 options ... Bemman, Barefoot International, and ECI. I have an ECI boom on a Bemman pylon mount. I don't know that the Bemman was available when I bought mine or I would have gone with it (I had a Bemman on my Echelon). However, some people prefer the ECI mount/clamp. They are all good and will do the job.

No worries...never been a better reason to hijack a thread. I throw up in my mouth a little bit every time I see that avatar.

Not to make you throw up more but try taking care of someone that size in the Emergency Department (I have had to on occasion), that is all I will say as I try to maintain some political correctnesss.

Good to see that you support all types of single mothers, Edwin. Wait, I guess we all support single mothers since we pay taxes.
