How low should cruise hold

I have my 06 VLX in the shop for the last bit of repairs under warranty. I know they are doing the cruise control flash upgrade so it holds at lower speeds (it used to only hold down to 11ish). How low should it hold now? I want to make sure they test it down to the correct level before I take delivery of it. We used to have to manually hold the throttle for surfing. I need to get this done right the first time as I'm now going to be out of warranty. Thanks!

Had mine done a year and a half ago. Don't know how low it will hold but do know it will hold at 10.0 MPH, that is plenty slow for anything you need to use it for.

Checked it yesterday at lake and it will hold down to 8 MPH.
