Exterior Trim Replacement

Recommended Posts

I was curious if anyone has replaced the black rubber trim that goes around the boat that protects the fiberglass from docks that sneak up on you and that kind of thing. Mine is in good shape, but I was considering replacing it and was curious how hard that was or just have the dealer do it $$$. It looks like it comes together in the back of the boat with 2 screws and I haven't dove into it much more than that.

Also...does anyone recommend a Malibu OEM dealer online that sells parts for a good pricing?

Call Paul at Bakesmarine. His number is 425-395-2555 he will probably be able to get the part for you. Their website is www.bakesonline.com.

Yeah...that was the one website I came across that seemed to have the most info, but I couldn't find that part. I'll hit up Paul and go from there. Thanks

If yours looks like this, I would like to get about a 2 foot piece of it before you trash it. That is if you replace it. I just spent $$ for a tower and the AC went out on the house. There goes any of the extra $$. PM me please. Thanks
