New Ballast Pump

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

I need to change a ballast pump for my '05 LSV 23 Wakesetter.

It is the rear ballast on the driver's side. I'm away from the boat and need the spec to purchese in the city.

Does it have to be the same pump brand and model or is there a standard?

I checked the owner's manual but there is no information

Thanks a lot

luis

Assuming the motor has failed and the housing is fine, you can get a replacement cartridge from your dealer. Alternatively, any 80GPH aerator style pump with 3/4" NPT fittings will be a direct replacement for the factory Piranha unit.

It depends on which pump it is, the fill pump will take five minutes or so, the drain pump will take longer, because it's a pain to get access to the pump.
