:(

Ya, so I rushed to replace my cap and rotor, and I think I may have messed up putting on the new one. runs ruff, and it back fires. I just ordered a chiltons manual, but I was hoping to find a diagram for dummies. I know the firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 but I can't find position 1 on the cap, and the cylinders are not labeled on the manifold or block. Can someone look at there's and draw it out for me? You would make my weekend.

plugs on drivers side front to back: 2 4 6 8.

on passengers side, front to back: 1 3 5 7

If you were to stand over the engine with your knees at the front of the engine and leaning over the engine looking down on the distributor, and you were to call the cap screw or retainer clip at the most rearward posistion of the engine 12 o'clock and the forward screw or clip 6 o'clock, place wire one at 25 after, wire 8 at 35 after & continue on from there.
