Trailer maintenance info

Recommended Posts

I have a web site that has ton's of great info on Actuators | Axles | Couplers | Disc Brakes | Suspension | Contact Us for trailers. The thing is there's a ton of info to go threw to find what you want. I know I could just post a link and walk. But I'm thinking of the people who come on here for info and don't know how to walk threw a web site or use the search very well. Like me. Cry.gif

So my ? is should I just put the link in Technical & How-To Articles and walk or make it into different topics. Such as just Brakes, Just Actuators and so on?

Should it be in the area that people can give input or just a view page?

So please go to the site and look around. There troubleshooting, bleeding breaks, part #'s, maintenance tips and so much more.

Thanks for all your input. I my need a mods help or my not. Tongue.gif

If you have web site on were to buy trailer parts go ahead and add it in this post. I know some have been posted in other topics and will pull them if need be.

D-GOOSE, I noticed on the contact page that one of your locations is in Winchester, TN. That's right down the road from me. Do you know anyone at that office. I know a guy named Bill Sneider that builds trailers I believe. Could be the same place?

If you have web site on were to buy trailer parts...

were = past tense of "are"

where = location

No.gif I have these books because they came with the boat. I see so many asking ?? about trailers. I figured if there was a place people could go first for info

on the basics then why not.

I think this is the place that make's the parts for trailers and not the builder.

great idea - seems like I spent more time on trailer maintenance this year than the boat and the info would be helpful. After this spring, I am now a pro at assembling/disassembling the ufp actuator Frustrated.gif

To be honest, there's almost too much information on that site, it would have to be broken out into pieces. I think that just having the link here on the site is enough, people searching will find it. A simple article such as, "How to re-pack your bearings" or "Proper maintenance on oil bath hubs" or "How to change your brake pads" would be a good start. There really aren't too many other things that people need involved help with on the trailer.

What I'm looking for is some more info that others may have to add. I have not found a great article about oil hubs yet! and will keep looking.
