Question for you all

I recently sold my boat (06 VLX) a month ago and found a new 08 VTX out the door for $47K. It has the following options

4 ballasts

manual wedge

3 outlet heater

transom light

docking lights

Colored (yellow) Illusions Tower

Stereo

Tower Speakers, Amp, Sun Woofer

Cover

Single Axle trailer

Depth finder

(No Bimini)

There are a few others but cant think of them

My question to you all is that I know this boat is approx a foot smaller than my old boot but will I have a hard time selling a smaller boat down the road? Everyone wants a larger boat but I'm afraid I may have issues in three years if I choose to get rid of it

Any insight would be greatly appreciated

What size are you talking about?

I believe the VTX is 20'

My bad, read right over the VTX, watching TV and internet surfing don't mix Rockon.gif but it's fun

I wouldn't worry about it. A smaller boat (as if 20' is a small boat) will use less fuel than a larger boat (and if gas goes back above $4/gl...) and it will fit more easily in more garages. It will also be an option for people who live on / use lakes with a 20' length restriction. Just enjoy your new boat. Thumbup.gif

Malibu hasn't seemed to have had any trouble selling the 20' VTX, so I don't know why you would some day. I'd say buy it and have fun!
