My new wakesurf board

Recommended Posts

Picked up my new custom wakesurf board today. Its a Wombat made by Matt Smedley of Smed Boards in Austin TX. He did a great job on it, and painted her green to match our bu :) Cant wait to get on the water this weekend and try her out.

Smed's boards are SWEET! I've had the pleasure of seeing them up close but I have yet to ride one. I've heard great things though!

Looks great, give us an update on how you like it Thumbup.gif

We got out last weekend and I got up my first try and several other times after that. It was a blast, but harder than it looks. I didnt get to the point where I could throw the rope in, but I was happy since it was my first time. We didnt get to surf or board as much as we would have liked. The lake was so darn rough, but cant wait to go again.

sweet board... I had a chance to ride on one of smed's boards last summer and they have an awesome feel to them. I'd like to pony up the benjamins and get me one!

You're such a show off !

I'm not talking about the cool green board. It's the T-shirt, shorts, and sandals.

We're still wearing fleece up here at 4100' elevation ASL.

So go ahead and gloat. Well be there in a couple of months !

Nice board, anyways.
