Wondering if anyone has added factory bow ballast to 07 247 wakesetter before. How much it cost and can you tie in to the mls display.

Actually, it is possible on the 247. The only boat that cannot be retrofitted is the 2005-2008 VLX. That was the first year that Malibu offered the bow tank as part of the qMLS system, and they decided to use two different deck molds, one for boats with the bow tank, and one for boats without. When the 247 was introduced in 2006, Malibu moved to a different system that used on deck mold regardless of whether or not a bow tank was installed, and all of the models since then have used that design scheme.

Now, whether or not it's worth it to spend the cost to retrofit the OEM setup is a different question. For many people it's not, and installing Fly High's Integrated Bow Sac or something similar makes more sense.

The parts are only available from an authorized Malibu dealer, so you'll want to contact them for pricing and availability.
