Ok, so other than the graphics is there any changes to the Ibex from the 08 model to the 09? I can get a new 08 model non blem for $205.00 in comparison to the 09 models selling for well over $400.00. Just curious on your thoughts between the two.

I have not been on the 09 but i ride the 08 Ibex and love it. For the money i say you cant go wrong with the 08, but like always, demo, demo, demo.

Go w/ the 08. I ride the 08 Ibex and love it! I'm pretty sure the only change for 09 is graphics. A $200 price difference is not worth it for a graphics change especially when the 08 already looks really good. (IMHO the 08 Ibex is great looking board and it doesn't have all the queer graphics like so many other boards have). Remember, your not trying to retain resale value because as soon as the 2010s come out that 09 will be worth pretty much the same as the 08.

Generally its pretty expensive to change a shape every year. "Generally" board shapes change every 3 years. So unless they are specifically calling it a new shape, its just market hype around new graphics.
