Ran out of gas

I've never looked but just about the whole floor is a lift up panel covering the 55 gal tank from the drivers seat back to the rear seat.

Surely they use the same defective sending unit as the DDrives.

The sending unit is at the rear of the tank on a V under the center seat cushion, on the starboard side of the tank. It is easily accessable.

I asked on the other thread but, has any one changed the sender on a V-Drive yet? Am I going to have to be the first?

Sounds good to me. Get going on it and then post lots of pics and advice.

I'll look at it tomorrow when I uncover the boat. It would be nice if it's that easy. Yahoo.gif

Well I looked at the tank this morning while we were out in the boat. I can see it, but I can't see the level of fuel in it. The tank has some discoloration on it such that a fuel level can't be seen. It does appear however that the sender is accessable for the mod.
